After completing her studies at a scientific high school in Verona, Tommasi enrolled in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Modena. However, she decided to abandon her academic pursuits to work as a stockbroker. During this time, she had a transformative personal experience with her instructor, which marked a turning point in her life.

Tommasi first gained attention in the erotic anthology film Fallo! (2003) directed by Tinto Brass, where she starred in the segment Montaggio alternato.
